OCEC & OCCBD "Bridges to Inclusion" Annual Conference

“Bridges to Inclusion” will be a fully in person conference on June 13 and 14, 2022. All sessions will be held at the Hamilton County ESC in Cincinnati, Ohio. On the first day the keynote speaker is JT Taylor, PhD. From Penn State University. Other sessions on the first day will include fostering teacher relationships, inclusive strategies, yoga, trauma informed practices, and a panel of new and veteran teachers. Day two of the conference with begin with keynote speaker, Paula Chan, PhD., from Cleveland State University. The day will also include breakout sessions covering topics like challenging deficit thinking, special education models, journaling, state updates, and a working session to brainstorm ideas within Ohio to address initiatives like MTSS and diversifying the educator pipeline. A light, continental breakfast will be available as well as lunch with the ticket price for two days.
